Built for Government Procurement. Ready When You Are.

Shielded Training Solutions was designed from the start to work with government procurement systems. We understand federal, provincial, and territorial contracting requirements, the documentation your agency needs, and the timelines that drive institutional training decisions.

Federally Registered Indigenous Business

Shielded Training Solutions is a majority Indigenous-owned business registered with the federal Indigenous Business Directory (IBD) administered by Indigenous Services Canada. We are eligible to bid on all PSIB set-aside contracts, mandatory Indigenous participation requirements, and Indigenous procurement preferences under federal, provincial, and territorial frameworks. If your department has an Indigenous procurement target or a set-aside requirement, we satisfy it.

Three Ways to Contract with Shielded Training Solutions

Most agencies have a preferred method. We are familiar with all of them and can move quickly through any procurement route.

01

Direct Contract

Under $40,000 threshold

Most single-agency training programs fall under the direct contract threshold. We can have a contract in place within two weeks of first contact. We will provide a scope of work, a day rate quote, and all required procurement documentation.

Typical timeline: contract in place within 10 business days of initial contact.

02

Standing Offer

Recommended for recurring annual training

For agencies with recurring annual training needs, we recommend establishing a standing offer. This eliminates re-procurement each year and allows your team to call off training as needed. We are familiar with the standing offer process for both federal and territorial governments.

Reduces administrative burden significantly after first-year setup.

03

Competitive Bid

RFP and RFQ response

We respond to government RFPs and RFQs and have experience with federal procurement requirements. We can provide all standard attachments: financial capability statement, key personnel CVs, corporate profile, and Indigenous business certification.

Contact us early in the RFP process — we can help scope requirements.

Three Pieces of Information. Proposal in Five Business Days.

We have kept this as simple as possible. Give us these three things and we will do the rest.

1

Team Size and Training Requirement

A brief description of your team and what you need. It does not need to be detailed. If you are unsure which program fits, tell us your operational environment and the challenges your people face. We will match you to the right program.

2

Target Date Range

A general window for when you need delivery. We operate across Canada and travel to your location. Northern and remote delivery is not a barrier. We will confirm availability and build the schedule around your team.

3

Your Procurement Method

Let us know how your jurisdiction typically contracts for training services. Direct contract, standing offer, or competitive bid. If you are unsure, tell us your department and budget level and we will advise on the most efficient route.

That Is Enough to Start

We will get a proposal on your desk within five business days. The proposal will include a scope of work, delivery format, day rate, and all documentation your procurement office needs to move forward.
